What Engine do I have?
Hello All,
As you can tell, I'm fairly new to Mitsu's and their engines. I recently purchased a 2006 Lancer ES NOT SE. I saw pictures in the manual of the engines for the 2.0L and the 2.4L sizes. For some reason, I purchased the vehicle under the impression that it was the 2.0L size engine but according to the diagram in the manual it resembles the 2.4L engine. How can a verify or validate the engine size?
I'm not complaining since i got a SWEET DEAL! Just a lil' over 7K miles and according to stock stereo which was manufactured in Oct. of 06'. Car was just under $8K sold to me by a Credit Union Bank!

You've got a 2.0L SOHC 4G94 engine. The 2.4L engine comes in the Ralliart models only. Welcome to the boards!
