ok i think i have it figured out. im car smart with my lancer but this is the only thing that has got me confuzzled. i let out clutch all the way in first gear and the engine sounds like it "pops" into place. if the car rocks back and forth it sounds like a popping sound but it is not effecting the drive at all. could it be the engine mounts because i have increased the hp/torque of my car.

are you dropping the clutch like trying to spin your wheels????
or are you just slowly riding it out in to a smooth take off?

 

slowly letting out. it happens in low rpm(under 2.5K). it happens also when car accelerates and decelerates

yes, just figured it out. looked at rear mount(by the exhaust) and the bolt inside it knocks around a lot. probably needs tightened. if you guys want a video before i fix just say so
