I have a 02 Lancer ES.
When i back out of my parking space and apply the breaks i hear a slight squeak. This is the only time the breaks seem to squeak. Never when just coming to a stop
at a red light or stop sign. Only when rolling in reverse.

Anyone know why its only when backing up? and what i could do to remedy it?

 

Because your brake drums are full of dust. Clean them out and see if it's better.

 

Ok, will just some aerosol brake cleaner work? Have anything you have found that works really good?
