hey..well I just got my kamikaze headers put on and besides the annoying clank sound from the downpipe my whole exhaust is hanging extremely low! I had gotten a testpipe a while ago and it lowered my whole exhaust piping about an inch, now with the headers...wow..I scrape on anything! I'm at a speed bump and when i got over it, everything from my resanator to my downpipe scrapes...wtf.! how do i remedy this? thanks. Oh, and to eliminate the farting noise that the headers produce can I just get another resanator? Cuz uhm..I seem to have misplaced my old cat

I have had horrible luck with Kamikaze. First downpipe broke at flex area and spewed all the exhaust straight out downpipe. My replacement from them I got a week ago was not bent properly. Everytime I started car, downpipe would hit underbody of car, also would hit car if accelerating. I had to take car in and have downpipe bent a quarter inch so it would no longer hit.

 

ok, I know its the downpipe and I know how to fix it..thanks. But, my whole exhaust is hanging to low no, from the downpipe back its about an inch off the floor! I scrape on everything. Its not kamikaze, it was like this with the testpipe also, the downpipe just made it worse.

I don't have a down pipe but when I had my muffler put on I had the same prob in reverse. I had the muffler shop weld a bracket that was directly under one of the heat shield bolts that I bolted on to keep the pipe up. Two months later and no problems.
