Hi all,
I have an 09 Lancer SE and was wondering if its normal (as in i did not notice till recently) for your air conditioner to turn on when you move the position dial to defrost (all the way over)?

Also, if i have my air condion off and the air is set to say the upper fans (IE by the stearing wheel, dash, etc..), then i turn my air condition on, it also turns on the recycle air feature. Is this all normal or is my heating unit screwed? I ask this because i had an 93 intrepid and it had sooooo many ac and heating problems.

BTW this is the normal AC unit, not the climate control.
