My GTS is falling apart!!!

so far i have the known problems of the GTS (engine idle, clicking, car pulls to the left)

recently i have had new problems i dont think anyone listed including:

-noises from the front of the car when i turn my wheel. this happens when i am reversing from my house, pulling in to parking. it feels like its body flex. how can i fix this?

-and my gear shift being tight and making a "elastic" sound when i pull it to the left side at neutral. i never had this problem until today. pushing the gear to the right side of neutral is silent

Not to scare you, but it sounds like the same problem my friend had. He replaced his cv joint and it all went away. Take it to and have them look at it since its under warranty.

As for the gear shift, it could just need some grease.

I would have to hear it to get an idea of whats wrong. But it wouldnt hurt to take it to the dealer, if its brand new. I dont see why they wouldnt fix it

I had the same noise when turning and backing up. Check you pad to see if it is hard slide in and out of the caliper, if it is used a wire brush to clean out part where the pad would slide in and out of the caliper. It's been 2 months since i cleaned it and there hasn't been any noise. Also if you painted your caliper, over spray that stick to areas where the pads move could also cause the pad to get suck.

sorry, i dont know what a CV joint is.

do you think they will fix it if they see my RRM pulley? i dont think they should mind my RRM short ram too much. but i believe this has nothing to do with the engine

That's completely normal, modern cars do that to warm up the engine and when the engine reaches a the proper combustion temperature the idle is low and stable.

About the noise, it may be a control arm bushing that needs to be replaced but it depends on the type of noise.

Get rid of your GTS now while you still can and get a Ralliart.

I had a GTS and the interior was always making a new sound every week. I got a Ralliart and instantly noticed they did a better job of putting it all together.

both of those will definitely void your power train warranty for any future problems you may have.

its hard to diagnose a noise problem w/o hearing it 1st hand.take my advice if you go to the dealership put all of your stock parts back on first.if you are under 25 years old take another person that is older its not fair but age discremination does happen.goog luck

The clicky thing in the shift happens to mine, I took to them and they said it was fine and wasn't sticky. I left it alone and just forgot about it, its fine its just the sound of the parts touching each other.

I move it to sport to D THEN i hear it, kind of weird. Don not sweat it.
