The brakes!

Hey guys my damn brakes are squeeking! I got a job as an aprentice at the mitsubishi dealer so I am going to check it out there when I get there but do you guys have any idea on what it might be? Thanks!

Worn pads? Most common answer by far. (Either that or you drive a Volvo Lancer...I swear older Volvo brakes squeek no matter what condition they're in).

an idea

well mine were squeaking... so i tried a lot of things... and i got one of those spray break cleaners... i took off my rim and sprayed it on... squeak is gone... hope that helps

Dirty/dusty discs. Another common reason. Can't believe I didn't mention it. Anyway...it shouldn't be anything to be concerned about, ryland. At least...not so long as you're still slowing down/stopping when you step on em.

Thanks man I work at the lube an we use that break cleaner all the freeking time to clean off anything. good idea I will just use some next time I work but I got to get it up on the block to get my rim off. Oh well you gotta do what you gotta do right. heh. Well peace out guys iM hitting the hay. Oh yeah I forgot...... YOU GUYS ROCK!
