need seats

so i just recently got a 2003 lancer oz rally and much to my dismay one of the seats is ripped, i was thinking about upgrading the seats but what should i go with? i don't want to spend like $700 per seat like some of them out there, i was thinkin some seats out of an evo, but i wasn't sure about fitment. any help?

Get Evo seats and you will be fine with price and quality.

Evo seats will be your only option in that price range. Sparco seats will run over that price with brackets and sliders, evo seats drop right in, minus the seat belt receptacle

They bolt right in as long as you get all the hardware.

You can use the same hardware from your stock seats

Are you sure? The stock hardware is welded onto the ES/OZ/Ralliart seats but it's bolted onto the Evo seats.

Yeah, you need to make sure you get the seat bracket with the seats for the Evo, since they are not welded

Retail on Evo seats is insane, like a few grand per seat insane. Just buy them used on here.

Dunno if you have done anything about this but some shops that do furniture reupholstery will also specialize in doing this work. Way cheaper than new seats but you'd need both fronts done to not look weird.

Check out my how to install evo seats in the how to section. Very easy. Unless you have an 06 Lancer, the fronts bolt right in. Even easier. Best seats for the price and they are safe. Don't go get cheap ones and die in a 5 mph wreck.
