wierd noises?

wierd noises?

so for the past couple months everytime i drive through a rouch road or hit a bump on the road i here this wierd click or liek clank coming somewhere in my wheel area. im not quite sure what it is. i drive an 03 LS with stock rims. does anyone know what the problem could be and hwot o fix it? thanks everyone

i also hear a click or clank noise when i press and release my brake when im on park. does anyone know the reason for that? i jsut recently changed my brake pads aswell so could there be something else that is the problem?

for the brake noise it might be that your pad is sliding in the caliper causing it to click, they have little retaining tabs that hold them in place, and if they are old or missing the pad can move inside that caliper. another possibility since it happens in park is that most brake systems have a small click that happens when you tap on the brake, how loud is the clank and where does it come from? wheels? pedal area?

for the clank going over bumps, i would check out your struts and make sure everything is ok with them, and also while your in there, wigggle stuff around and see if anything is loose.

the clank comes from the wheel area and for the strut reason, i took my car to the mechanic and they said my struts were fine. could there be another reason why that could be happening?
