Well a couple of months ago i was planning on getting HIDs for my 03 Oz and i was asking questions about it.... And this one guy told me not to get em if i dont have Projector head lamps. Now.... I got my HIDs and about to install them, is it necessary to have the projector lamps and would it really make a difference(i know it would but would it be dramatic?

 

you dont have to have projectors but it would look a lot better if u did, i have them on the stock headlights and im fine with it for now until i do get some projectors

 

i have them on my stock headlights as well and they look great to me.

 

Yes it is necessary if you want an actual improvement and you don't want to blind oncoming traffic.

Without actual projector headlights you might as well just drive around with your brights on and save the effort of installing the HID kit. You'll have to adjust your beam to aim lower to the ground to avoid blinding oncoming drivers which, in turn, reduces your headlight's effectiveness while driving.
