im looking to raise the rear end of my car just a little so that when i have people in the back the tires dont rub, i have 17s on my car and i also have alot of weight in the trunk due to having a 150lb sub box. what can i do to bring the rear end up like a half inch.

Seriously... if you tires rub when your buddies are in the back, they are seriously overweight. I' have a dropped suspension, oversized tires(5% taller) and it doesn't rub when I have passengers in the back.

and put that sub box on a diet. Why do you need a box so heavy?

 

+1^ That 150lbs is killin your car's fun factor. But if you find some similar-drop springs with a stiffer spring rate it should keep your ride height about the same but they wont sag when there's extra weight in the back. If you still have stock suspension you might as well do springs all around.
