I just installed my Greddy exhaust tonight and I love it... I do have signs of my bumper burning already, but its not too bad and not really all that noticeable. My exhaust leans on the left part of the bumper too and if I take a turn hard or go over a speed bump or through a dip i can hear it hitting the sides of the bumper because of the huge size of the tip on it and the very little resistance the stock rubber pieces put upon the hangars of the exhaust. I think tommrow I'm gonna go get some heat wrap tape to put on the back side of the tip where its hitting and beginning and it should solve all my problems. Overall I'd say that i really like the product and other than the fitment problems in the bumper due to the huge tip and loose stock rubber hangars, I'd buy it again.

Kartboy exhaust hangers help too.

Email or PM tom@kartboy and ask for a set for the Lancer. He put one together for me, no problem.

I've had my greddy in for about a year now and it's never burned my bumber at all. It sits right in the middle and doesn't touch my bumper at all. The only rattling that i get is when i'm making a turn and the muffler dances around and hits the sides of the bumper, but no burning. Anyone else experience this?

I plan on getting the Evo 2 exhaust for my 04. I'm pretty sure my rear bumper is going to have to be cut to fit it.

my greddy doesn't burn anything, and to prevent moving or rattling im goign to install stiffer exhaust hanger mounts. the only problem with my exhaust is that since i have turbo it kinda moved the downpipe over and it tweeked the exhaust so when i go around certain turns the exhaust bumps against the inside corner of the bumper so im hoping stiffening the mounts will not allow the exhaust to move.

I called GReddy, according to them the exhaust listed on their site says 02-03 OZ. Of course the OZ has the same 4G94 as an ES so installation should be the same. However according to them, the 02-03 exhaust won't work for an 04.
