Rear Bumper Crushed

So I got in an accident over the weekend, and was wondering if it is cheaper just to replace the rear bumper with a new one then just to fix the dents on the messed up rear bumper?

Any input would be nice.

I got hit and run done to me after about 2 weeks after buying the car. My bumper was pretty messed up. The bumper was about like 950 new at the time. It was 450 to fix, paint, install my current one. So yeah i opted to fix the bumper I had but it was a really hard job for them and they barely salvaged it.

That happened to me 2 years ago btw so I dono if the prices are cheaper or more expensive now.

Anywase sorry man, good luck getting it fixed. If I were you, I would buy an aftermarket bumper to make your car more custom looking (prolly' find it for cheaper than oem bumper as well).

how is this lancer troubleshooting? you think maybe to call a body shop and see cost of both options. just ask, being you were rear ended it should be on the others dime anyways.
