I have ordered h.i.d kit's for my 09gts, and I can't wait to install it. while I am waiting for the kit's to come in I looked at the headlights, and I was wondering how to remove the grommet that holds the high beams in. I didn't want to force it and I was wondering if you just pull on it or if you turn it? I tried to find a walkthrough on replacing the bulbs, but I can't find info anywhere on this or many other things. wish Haynes made a book for our cars.

 

Yes, you can just pull on it and itll slowly come out. I used a jewlers screw driver to pry it out. If you are putting the Hi beam bulbs in, you will have to do more than just remove the grommet. The plugs on the HID bulb are too large to fit through the existing hole. You can always cut the wires and resolder them. I took a dremel and enlarged the holes and made a little notch as well. Then the plugs can squeeze in and I was all set.
