Strange o2 Problem with 4g64 lancer

Okay I drive a 2003 lancer and did the 4g64 swap into my car, Im using the engine from a 2000 eclipse rs, with an 01 reluctor and an evo8 ecu that has been flashed by DarkMitsu with the settings that he is using on his swapped lancer. He has gone through and disabled the rear o2 sensor and several other things that the evo has and g64 doesnt. It also has the 501 MAF settings and the eclipse injector settings. It runs okay, not as powerful as i expected but i am in need of a tune since the fuel maps are still from an evo. ANyways, i keep getting a CEL for the front o2 sensor, NO ACTIVITY. I tried a new o2 sensor and the code always comes back. The other day i hooked up an obd scanner to it and saw the the sensor has 0 votage reading. After clearing the code, the sensor started reading voltage again. If i drive around for a while, the code always comes back. Now i noticed that it comes back faster after agressive driving. Another thing i noticed from comparing the evo fuel maps to the g64 is that im running richest above 4000 rpm and past 70% load. Could it be that by running my car hard, the voltage readings are spiking at my richest rpm's and causing the ecu to think the o2 sensor is malfunctioning?

If not, what else could be causing the o2 sensor to stop reading like this? i cleared the code yesterday and have been driving like a grandpa since then. If this code does not come back, then i guess that solves my problem. Another thing is that my coolant temps are at 216. is this normal operating temp for the 4g64?
THanks for your time,
Alex
