Noise when I turn it off
Only after I turn off the car, it sounds like something under the hood is coming to a grinding stop. I don't hear it when the car is running, only right when I turn the key off and the engine is shutting down. It doesn't sound good. Any ideas?

and me also. it was once explained to me like this... think about how you voice changes talking through a paper towel roll. the intake gets the same effect from a sri or cai, only it resonates even louder because its metal.
when i first heard it, i thought one of the shipping peanuts hid in the tube with a little help from static cling. thankfully, such was not the case, and i have had no problems with it.

wow i thought i was the only one with this problem.. i didnt think it was normal because any 'metal on metal' sound is never good.. but then again, it only happened when i installed the intake.. so upon reading this thread, thats a big "phew"
I actually had my Mom turn the car on and off again while I had the hood open. Like was said before it is just the intake sucking in air right after the engine goes dead. No big deal.
Everyone seems to have the same noise and I noticed it before my car had an intake. Someone posted up that it was probably an internal relay shutting off or something of the sort.
