Only responds when reved to 2,000 rpms. I was told that changing the trans filter might help? I put it in gear while the car was'nt running and the trans makes a sound like a lightsaber or a spring on an old screen door for a few seconds. Its not the linkage vibrating because I can put it in neutral and it stops. I really dont want to spend the $60 for filter & fluid if I'm gonna have to get a rebuild.
