Here's a link to an online Mitsu parts catalogue; from what I've seen they're close to what the dealer prices would be, as I'm pretty sure they order from the same OEM suppliers that a dealership would: http://www.mitsubishiparts.com/oe_pa...Search+Results
Just put in the year/make/model of your car at the top (the link doesn't transfer the search results). I think the price of the mirror, or "Mirror Cover" as they're calling it, which may or may not be all the pieces to the mirror assembly is something like $64.73, but I'm not sure if that's all the parts you'd need.
Hope that helps.

Hey, I checked that out and then I went to the dealership to buy one and when I got there that was only one piece of the mirror. That is shell on the outside of the mirror. they told me I still had to buy the whole mirror piece which they wanted like 235 for. Then 90 for the shell piece( the painted part) and I wasn't going to pay that. So I told the guy at the dealership that I found the shell piece for 65 and the mirror part for like 170 ish? and he told me he would match it for me. I went back with papers in hand and got the price I was looking for. Im still upset that I have to buy TWO different pieces for one small mirror. Oh well, I needed it bad. Thanks for the help though. I would have had to pay over 300 without that website.

So they wanted to charge you $90 for the painted shell piece that is the "cover" and $170 for the actually mirror (glass)? That's insane. I guess they don't have the nickname "stealerships" for nothing...

Yea, it was pathetic. that is way to much for a mirror. but i needed one bad, it should be here tomorrow, do you know how to install it or is there a tutorial on it you can direct me to? thanks.

P.S. I never even heard of the stealership name, haha but its catchy. i like it, haha

oh and the 170 charge was for the whole arm piece, the one that has the shell and the glass on it, not only for the glass part.

just read that part.

Nope, I haven't seen any tutorials about how to install one myself, but a quick Google search should help you out.

to swap them out, u need to pop off the little plastic peice where the tweeters are held in. Behind there are three screws. Once you remove those, the mirror will fall out, and u can put the new one in. If it is a powered one, the connector is sitting right there as well. gl

ahhh yaaa

just got my mirror from the dealership and it looked like it was gonna be easy to put on and man oh man it was, took me a good 8 or so minutes to get them on. the guy at the dealership handed me the plastic piece and said you wanted 90 for this? then i proceeded to laugh while i walked out. but anyways the plastic part with the tweeter came off way to easy in my opinion and but there were the three screws bolts. they were not very tight on but oh well, the mirror held nicely. but the only trouble that i had was after i took off the broken mirror a little plastic piece was stuck in a hole. almost center to where the bolts were,,,i had to pull it out with some pliers and the new mirror had the piece that slipped right into that hole. all and all, it was an easy install.

thanks again everyone for all your help!

Glad to hear it all worked out. Maybe you should have taken pictures to make a how-to on the how-to forum

There's a service manual floating around for the 2008 Lancer. That might help with the install.
