Hello,
First of all, I know "ticking" on these cars is normal as far as LIFTERS go, but this problem doesn't seem to be related.
This issue only happens as I'm accelerating and holding the RPMs in the range of about 1700-2300. A nasty ticking/churning noise and it goes away somewhat if i increase my RPMs. I'm suspecting timing related, but I thought these cars automatically adjusted the tensioner.
Anyone else run into this?
