How many miles are on it? I've got 125,000 on my stock clutch and I know other owners have had more. You know if the previous owner drove the car hard?

its got 112K and he said he only drove highways, everything in the car is stock, so he didnt race or anything, im gunna get a new clutch set just to be safe, the problem is the slave cylinder apperently, so both the clutch set and the starter are gunna come out to like 700 bucks T_T

The clutches are To bad on these cars . I've done it twice on an 02 OZ . and once on a 3000gt VR4 With a 6 sod<<< that one took some time. And if you don't drive it hard , there some eBay ones that aren't too bad and stupid cheap

well its not the cost of the clutch thats the worst part, its the time/cost of install. If you're going to replace your clutch and you want it to last, I say shell out a couple extra bucks and hope it lasts the remaining life of your car

I have 201,000Km on my stock clutch and it does see some days of spirited driving, the clutches are not that bad...

Anyway, if I'm not mistaken the clutch shares the brake fluid, so check how that fluid is perhaps? If someone knows better please correct me if I'm wrong.
