ive had my entire radio unit replaced 4 times now and it still continues not to work, i keep bringing it in and they tell me nothing is wrong. every morning the radio will be on but you cannot hear sound for at least 15 minutes, before the music comes on i hear very faint popping sounds. sometimes the radio will just stop and a loud distorted sound just blasts through the speakers. im at my wits end with this im thinking on just buying a whole new sound system. does anyone have any idea of what it could be.

p.s. my car is still under warrenty

 

its really hard if a dealer or shop can not duplicate the problem. Now you say every morning, is it because its cold outside? I am assuming so. You may want to leave it with the dealer and let them try when its cold. If it does it only every friday sort of thing then you may be out of luck. Mitsubishi has a tech support like where I work and if they are interested keeping you a happy customer they will talk to them to get an ok to replace a head unit or whatnot. But if you problem is only intermittent and wont do it for the dealer, they cannot just wing parts at it hoping to solve it. Good luck
