Advance Timing Kits
Does anyone have any experience with these? This is what they are stating it does:
THIS KIT COMES WITH THE SIMPLE EASY TO FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS. IT WORKS BY TAPING INTO YOUR CARS ECU AND TELLING YOUR CAR THAT COOLER AIR IS ENTERING THE CAR THAN ACTUALLY IS, THUS ADVANCING THE TIMING AND RELEASING THE EXTRA HP. CARS DO NOT COME LIKE THIS FROM THE FACTORY SO AS TO COMPLY WITH EMISSIONS AND RUN ON 87 OCTANE FUEL. YOU MUST USE 92 OCTANE WITH THIS KIT. THIS KIT WILL NOT HURT YOUR MOTOR IN ANY WAY AND WILL NOT AFFECT YOUR COMPUTER IF ITS TRYING TO RETARD TIMING BECAUSE OF DETONATION. TAKES 5 MINUTES TO INSTALL IN YOUR DRIVEWAY, EASILY UNINSTALLED WITH NO PERMANENT MODS.
Let me know guys.

It's just an inline resistor anyhow--attenuating the coolant signal to the ECU is not something you wanna do, really. Just say no to cheesy, dangerous hacks.

Run a search for "timing advance" and you'll see a bunch of BS threads like this and one posted by DIM or bahamut about a real timing advance.
Better yet, I'll do it since I doubt anyone else will...

I bought one too and trusy me it doesnt take 5 minutes to install and they said u cant take it off easiley but it requires cuttin wires to your air sensor and unless u spend a bit of change any dealer could see u ****ed with it.

Get the Greddy E-manage, it will give you Fuel and ignition tuning control it's like $370 and works great I have installed these on a ton of diffrent customer cars and once you get them set up I have not had a problem, nice unit since it can add a map sensor and additional injectors it'll still be useful when or if you ever decide to go forced induction.
