The steering on my Lancer has waaay to much play, about 5-6 inchs with very little tire movement. I realize the Lancer wasnt meant for the track bla bla bla but i know its too much. Didn't know really what to look at but i told my mechanic, nice guy , and he looked at the steering column.

He said it was probably that the steering rack busings had become worn and were moving by themselves before the rack actually started to move (then the tires of course.) He said i could probably replace them myself easily, he knows ive done most the stuff on my car, but i cant find them. I searched multiple places and nothing much came up on the google machine

Obviously i'd like to get some performance bushings while im down there but i cant seem to find any. Any help would be great thanks.
