EvoX HID Headlights on a Canadian GT?

Hey guys,

Just a few quick questions about the EvoX HID Headlights. Do these have a Bi-xenon projector in them, as in the cutoff shield in the projector flips up when the high beams turn on? If so, does the halogen high beam come on as well?

Also, Most of what I'm seeing available for sale are Headlights from US cars. If I install these into a 2011 Canadian GT, will I be running into issues with DRLs?

Thanks in advance!

Hodder

the halogen light is a DRL it is not a high beam.

if there are any issues with DRLS simply dont hook up that bulb...i dont use it in my evo x projectors that are on my lancer gts.

So really it should be plug and play I guess hey? Just remove the stock halogen headlight and throw in the ExoX HID, and plug in the connectors.

All the same, the halogen headlights have a dual bulb setup for lows and highs, a 9005 and a 9006. How does this compare to the connectors on the back of the EvoX Headlight? Ie: Are there 2 connectors on the back of the EvoX light to match up to the stock wiring for Halogen Headlights?

Also, anyone on here from Canada that has installed these lights? I just don't want to go order them only to find I have to start changing pin-outs to get them working.

the only lancers that had one plug were early 2009 (mine) and 2008, everyone else has had success just using them plug & play as long as you have two connectors on your halogens.

Strangely enough, while I have 2 connections on each of my halogen headlights, only the large ones are connected. The smaller ones are not connected to any harness, and it doesn't look like they're poked away anywhere. This is a 2011 Canadian GT.

No matter anyways, as I opted to have a set done by ttmitsubishi.
