Hello can any help had my Evo about 6 weeks now
And engine management light has come on about 3 times saying waste gate solenide is at fault but when I got the car he told me his son had been messing with the boost controller could this be the course or the solenide and how do I tell would putting it on a rolling road sort it out thanks

 

Probably disconnected electrically and put a manual boost controller in. If you cant locate the solenoid youll need to find another one to plug in or patch your ecu rom to remove it.
