Is this safe? (Pics Included)

Hey guys. So under the front of my 2004 Lancer Es, two "protector" plastics fell off.

First plastic fell off. This then left the second piece of plastic just hanging. Eventually the second piece was hanging so much that it looked bad. I took it off.

Now here is the under of my car. A belt along a hose is exposed because of the fallen plastics.

Is this safe? I can imagine gravel popping inbetween the belt and the rotor and causing something bad.

Is there an alternative to shield this underpart? Maybe something I can grab from Canadian Tire. I have not driven my car yet.

Rocks getting into the belt is a valid concern, I don't think it's dangerous though unless you live on a gravel road. those parts aren't too hard to find on eBay usually. The biggest thing is getting the correct plastic clips that hold everything together so that the new panels don't vanish like those did.

My heart had literally just stopped when I read this before looking at the picture. It was just raining outside. I'd **** my pants if it was leaking like that.

I've read many forums that people have left their plastics out. Hopefully nothing bad happens...
