Hi, looking to get into the Lancer community, and doing it by being interested in someone's GTS for sale. Apparently 80k miles, 30k on the engine (rebuilt/replaced?), and am told it runs fine, but the seller can't test the car because the wiring harness that goes to the computer is bad, and will cause it to short?

Solutions? I imagine I need to look for a replacement part, but what would that part be called?


Specifics: 2008 Lancer GTS with the 2.0L, stick, clean title. What's it worth to you in the condition above?

 

I wouldn't buy it unless I can see it run. Tell the seller to fix it.
