Speedometer intermittently not working

Hey guys my 02 Lancer OZ Rally just recently started giving me issues with just the speedometer not working on the dash. Every other gauge works fine but that one. It will work for a small period of time, then drop to 0 and back up to the speed i was going. I replaced the speedometer sensor, but it's still happening. I dont know what else to troubleshoot on the car.. Any help guys?

Hi, I'm new to the forum & I have an issue with my speedometer as well. Mine jumps to 60 mph when I drive. I was wondering if you ever found an answer ? I changed both in&out speed sensors with no luck . my problem persists

It's the speedometer itself. I ended up getting a brand new one and getting the miles calibrated to it. Cost me an arm and a leg. You can even get yours fixed. Just google speedometer repair. You might have to mail it out if there's no one near you that repairs them. The downside is that you won't have a car until you get your speedometer back.

Where the hell did you send it to to get calibrated and how much did it cost?

Prime example here. m.ebay.com/itm/161909115278
You could get your current cluster repaired instead of buying a new/used one. They'd usually resweat the circuit board to get electricy flowing again.
