Battery wire replacement

Ok, so my - clamp is all trashed.... the square headed bolt just spins in the clamp....

looking for alternatives, wouldn't be opposed to a new clamp and a new eyelet, but not sure what to do about properly crimping a wire that large

where can I fin oem other than a junkyard at this point?

I am open to upgrading as well if that is possible

most replacement battery lugs use a bolt/screw and plate to crush the conductors, so you just strip the wire back stick it in and tighten it...

yeah, I was looking for mroe of the OE style

I want to do a new eyelet on it, but not sure what size or how to do it really. Blow torch and fill with solder?

I might go to the junkyard in the morning and see what I can find....

Even tried going the OE route, but can't figure out what part I need through the parts diagrams

I need this for the negative

I think you need the whole battery cable assembly...only the positive terminal with the fusible link is a replaceable part...

ok, so I can't find the OE cable, but... I did figure out where the 2 wires went. They come off the OE terminal and 1 (about 12" long) goes to the body near the battery tray, and the other (about 24" long), goes to the top of my transmission

Is there anything wrong with just replacing them with new wires? and tossing on a new clamp capable of accepting a ring terminal wit ha stud? I assume there wont be any issue at all. I plan on at least 4 gauge, heck, might even splurge and go larger. the big 2 upgrade, lol
