03 Lancer Es Manifold Cat

Hi after trying to find a solution to this issue ended up here. Was wondering if i delete the manifold cat with an exhaust header kit but keep the second cat will i be able to pass emissions. I live in nj so dont have to worry about ca/ny emissions. They dont do smog test. they just hook up the obdII sensor and usually check from there.
The headers have a spots for an o2 sensor and includes front exhaust pipe portion so should bolt directly into the rear cat.

Any codes this might throw or does it only measure the o2 sensors?

Yeah, that sounds like that header will work as it has the o2 bungs. Visually its a fail if your state does that?

As long that the o2 sensors are measuring the flow before the CATs, anything that happens after the o2's should be OK

Suggest a tune due to opening up the exhaust w/the header & your CBE!

Thanks wanted to get more info before i did this. The only thing im worried about is the headers delete the first cat but connect to the second one will that affect the downstream o2 sensor or not? Or does not having the manifold cat throw some sort of code.
