Ticking noise help
I have a 2008 lancer es with 176k on it.When I am coasting on the highway usually around 3500 rpms on light load my car has a ticking noise like crazy. Also when I’m accelerating between 3-4K rpm it ticks. Could this possibly be bad spark plugs? The throttle response isn’t the greatest right now which makes me think it would be tied together with the ticking noise.It only happens when I’m moving never when I’m in idle revving my engine to try to get it to make the noise. I also have a p0420 code, replaced my cat and the code is still on(got scammed on the cat probly). Not sure if this would help troubleshoot but I need help it’s driving me crazy
