Replacing slave cylinder 2010 gts lancer w/2.4l engine tips on bleeding?

Replacing slave cylinder 2010 gts lancer w/2.4l engine tips on bleeding?
So in order to replace the slave cylinder in my 2010 gts lancer i had to drop the trans the slave cylinder is in place and im preparing to out it back together but people have warned me to bleed the cylinder before closing it all up... Anyone have any tips on how to do this?
