once i had this clicking noise when i was driving. it freaked me out. it was this really loud rattle. then i turned the music down and took the pennies out of my door compartments. i thought i broke a speaker or something..

now for yours, maybe theres something with your power steering, or its a little "harder" on it to turn when not moving or something?

how long have these ( etc.) new icons been there?

i hope its the power steering and not the axle or anything i would have to pay for. im bringing it in tomorrow to have it checked. hopefully it isnt anything serious.

They'd have to diagnose the problem first. I mean, unless you changed EVERYTHING on that car, it could be something wholly unrelated. And in any case, they'd have to have pretty conclusive proof to deny warranty service.

nothing you listed should affect the steering.. they might try something like "replacing the springs could cause stress on the steering wheel!", but like the only intake could do something is if it like "shook" and hit something....

clicking noises while steering might be your CV Joints have gone bad, did you went over any curbs or did anything hit your undercarriage?

naw havent hit anything yet.. but when i installed the springs, the cv boot fell out. it was hella hard to put back it. couldnt get the other piece to come out.. so i ended up just getting the juice for the cv boot and tightning it back up...maybe all the juice fell out and its rubbing against each other .. wont find out til tomorrow.. if it went bad is it still under warranty? kinda broke right nowand cant afford ****..

If they can't tell you **cked with it they will warranty it , or if your in good with the techs , otherwise you better save up. Are you sure the axle is even the noise? One good way to tell if it is the axle is to drive in a circle in the direction that makes the noise and ride the brake while accellerating be carful doing this. If the noise gets really loud then you know the axle is the cause. Good luck.

maybe thats it...cv joints/axel costs around couple hundred dollars to fix at least, it probably could fall under drivetrain warranty, have to check that..
