Canadian Spec Lancer

Hey guys, got a quick question for you all. Its a tough one, so bear with me.

What is the difference between a Canadian Spec Lancer ES and a normal US version?

I bought a Canadian one, so I was wondering if there were any differences. Like, speedo changes and etc. Thanks!

Not that tough actually. Only difference is:

Canadian > KM/H is bigger than miles per hour
US > Miles per hour is bigger than km/h

The speedo is the only difference

And I think there's some sensor where you'd install the mount of a Cold Air Intake on teh CDN version. I don't know about US, but it wasn't ther ein the instrucitons.

I know about the KPH vs MPH, but my car has Daytime running lights...It really does! I was surprised because I though Lancers don't have DRLs. Anyways I was wondering if anyone knew why my car has those. Does Canada have a law about lights on all the time? I checked the car in the driveway and the front lights are on with no tail lights or side marker lights. When I turn the stalk the headlights get brighter and the side lights, repeaters and tail lights turn on.

Interesting.

Yeah, I guess you're right. Thanks Canada. It's cool to see other guys driving in their Lancers and see my lights on. They do a double take. Thanks for your help.
