Flip-Flop trunk help.

Ive have boughten all the stuff to mod my "es" trunk into a flip-flop one. But i do not know how to LOL. Has any1 had any experience in this? Or could help me through it? I would greatly appreciate it! Lol, sorry if i sound like a newb or something but ya..... Thanks to any1 that could help!

Where did you buy the kit to do that, that it didn't come with installation instructions?

i didnt buy a kit.... the friend i know... (his lancer in the picture) told me what i need... but he went on vacation and i cant ask him how to set it up lol.

It looks like you just replace the stock hinges with some different ones, so the whole trunklid pops up and swings forward a bit, rather than just levering up and forward.

my bad evom was actin a lil out...but ya its easy remove the 4 ten mm bolts then those hinges u got u drill hole for them on the beam the go up n down to pull ur trunk up but have the hinge lay flush like the lil thing that looks liek dis in da middle ()---() should lay at the end of the beam. drillholes screw in. then after u did it to both sides putt he trunk back on wit sum1 helpin u n bolt the bottom ones on the stock line( youll see the lines) the drill holes on ur trunk n bolt them in. then if ur doin latches drill hole for them n put em in n u got it done. after u remove the bottom screws....basic install need more info n better instructions ill tell ya jus pm me or post

all u need 2 do is go 2 home depot and buy some small hinges and u just take out tha outside bolts from your trunk and put your new hindges and there u go! i couldent wit mine cause my spoiler is 2 heavy i have tha evo 7 spoiler

custom trunk flip kit

I make a custom trunk flip kit that can stop in multible positions and handles heavy wings no problem.
It uses hitch pins and custom steel braket so you can pick your setings.

my buddy did this to his altima. i remember he got the hinges from home depot. just becareful when you drill the holes, and make sure everything lines up right. he drilled the holes a little sloppy, and now the trunk dosent close fully. one side sticks up a little higher than the other.
