prob with rrm exhaust
i got the RRM exhaust and it sounds great. bassy tone if not quiet. the problem is that it's kind of crooked. anyone have any ideas on straightening it? well, besides cutting the hangers off and rewelding. :dunno:

Just a note, I think you will get more replies if you post this in the US Lancer section instead of in the EVO Tech section... :D

Maybe damaged in shipping? What does RRM say?

Maybe the hangers are slightly off (either mounted or welded). Try getting someone from RRM's attention about that...either on the boards or on the phone.

The only way I saw to fix it would be to re-weld the exhaust hanger in a higher spot. |
I cut the threads off of the hanger which sits by the rear wheel and used saftey wire to tie it to where the rear anti-sway bar attaches.

After looking at your picture, I looked at mine. It seems like you put the bolt in the wrong hole on the back hanger. Mine had two holes. Use the one closest to the muffler. That should do it.

Problem solved! Talked on the phone with Kris today. Bent hanger from shipping. We want you to be happy Kris.
