2002 Lancer with P0443 code.

Hey guys I have a 2002 Lancer with a p0443 code. I checked the evap. purge valve per the service manual, and it looks like it went bad.

Does anyone know the part number for the evap. purge valve or know where I can get one? Tried all the usual part stores, and nobody seems to have one.

The part # for the valve itself (located on the canister) is MR464336, but the only place you may be able to get one is the dealer.

I'm actually talking about the one that's on the intake manifold.

Sorry bout that, it's MR507781. From the looks of it, there's only a few parts houses that have those, the rest are overseas.

Thanks for that. Looks like Dodge has the same part number for what seems like the same part. I just haven't found a picture of it to determine if it's the same part. Anyone know if the Mitsubishi and the Dodge part would be the same?

I'm not 100% sure but I think so, I know Chrysler controlled Mitsubishi briefly from 2000 - 2004. I am 100% sure that a 2004 Chrysler Sebring uses the exact same output shaft sensor for the transmission(and I think input sensor as well) as a 2004 Lancer. But I'd try and dig up more info on it if at all possible.

Is that the Mitsubishi or Dodge part?

This is probably what you need

RT78 Jul 3, 2014 03:30 AM

Yep, that's it

Yeah, I seen that. I was looking for a cheaper solution, as I think $50 is too much for this part. Let alone the $10 for shipping such a small part. That's why I was asking about the Dodge part.
