ROAD/RACE- HID Headlight Conversion
Yeh I will def buy some. The only thing stopping me from getting the before is I'm a straight up ***** when it comes to doing certain things on my car lol. But I love plug n play idea. GB or not I'm down to get some.
I'd be willing to buy these on the stipulation if I put them in, pull up to a nice big wall and see glare like that pic posted earlier I can get a refund (minus shipping of course). I'm very wary of these plug n' play HID kits since you would be the 1st to offer a kit without glare issues that doesn't include new headlight housing/projectors.

Just to clear something up: When you put HID's into housings not designed for HID's (ie non-projector housings) you WILL get glare. These are not special "non-glare HIDs" as those dont' exist. If you don't want glare, you'll have to retrofit projectors into your housings.
But keep in mind "excessive glare" is subjective. What is way too much for one person, may not be even noticable to another.

GREEN is correct. It is very subjective but we did do the wall test and I have driven it at night and I am quite satisfied. I am going to install a set on my PIAA rally light on my rally car even. I cannot do returns on electrical items either because of the obvious possibilty of someone hooking it up wrong and then going, "Uh it is not the color I wanted so I want to return them."

02-05 should all have the same bulb so it wouldnt make a difference, should fit all models...glare is always going to be there like green said, hell you get glare from regular halogens...

The 04-05 housings seem to like the HIDs better than some other ones. Maybe better than 02-03s but we will try it on an 02 next. For now, the 04-05s are added to the website. I am confident that they will work well on those years and have a minimum of glare. Every once in a while PIGS FLY!
