Magnum Bore Fuel Rails
well guys
heres the review..
install was easy, just freaking time consuming, all the dam bolts were ****** cuz u cant reach them well, i dont know how many different tools i used with my ratchet set. but hey after an hour and a half it was in, i started here up after triple checkin it all and i had no idle problems at all.. i took it a lil longer to start but thats cuz it was out of fuel.
after lettin her idle and taking a shower...i took her out..
now the instructions say wait 100-200 miles to push it hard, so i waited about 10.
ok maybe i waited 12
throttle response is a lot better especially when u are up in the 60-70s
unlike before when u press the gas you feel the var start to move a lil quicker immediately
now dont get me wrong its no HP mod, but boy he thng makes it A LOT SMOOTHER THROUGHOUT!
the difference in the size of the rail is whats astounding... its like how did i ever live with tthis garbage,
well gents turbo in soon... ill put ths to use when i upgrade the injectors.

My Short Ram should be here Wednesday though I cant wait!
Hey Rock, do you happen to know if you will still be selling the evo front end conversion kits around December?

sry i cant get to finish my review yet for the rail ; ;. As akasirlancelot said, you can actually feel the difference. anyway this is out of topic... I got the legendary code PO171. which symptom is running lean while idle. I search the forum for answer and i got this:
https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...ighlight=po171
a)MAF sensor
b)02 sensors
c)vacuum leak
i did process of elimination... dealer put on the new 02 sensors so it couldn't be b. so it leaves me with vacuum leak and MAF. The dealers blamed it on my custom exhaust, air intake and magnum rail ><. it couldn't be the intake and exhaust because it's been with me the whole time. But then a thread on evos mentioned something about fuel pressure leak or something. so I was thinking there might be some sort of leak that i caused during the magnum rail's installation. My question is how do you check the fuel pressure? My car's performance with the rail is impressive but then my only problem is running lean while idle. Dealer suggested that i take the stock airbox back and return for further diagnostic. Any suggestions will be very much appreciated

not fuel pressure leak... it's probably due to a vacuum leak around your injectors when installed the magnum rail. Get some brake cleaner and spray it "Liberally" around the injectors one at a time during idle. If the idle drops all wierd when being sprayed you have a leak at that injector.
If you have a good number of miles you may just need some new lower injector seals. They are like 10 bucks for all 4.

For those still looking to have the magnum bore benefit... here's your chance for some pre-production rials i still have.
