Alrighty folks, im off to pep boys to get heavy dute velcro, duct tape, and electrical tape. I am going to make these work and look good doing so!! I will do what I have to, and send pics up here later on tonight. I have a big project ahead of me, i need to switch the blinkers on the passenger side so it shines out the correct bulb, not the reverse bulb. Oh well, I will keep everyone posted, and let them know what kind(make) of velcro will work best.

I don't think that securing something with Velcro is whacked at all. My body kit has a tube of liquid nails holding it on and ACCOLADE said it was a "perfect fit" It onlt took $2800 to get the kit to look good but I like the end result ! We're talking about $4 Velcro here.

I'm not at all. Guys sometimes you gotta be creative to make things "perfect" I know other companies make similar lights but I gaurantee they will have the same kinda things. It's not like any of them have to be shaved or cut. DAMN, it's only being handy. I almost think it's fun to make things work better than they already do. I get a sense of accomplishment !

I like doing handi work but i also like quality products for my hard earned money. They do look awfully tight on your car though. If i had a black OZ, I would definetely pick up a pair.

Its just that my scheme doesn't involve chrome...too rice

They are definately quality parts. Like I said before, we're dealing with hard plastics. with plastic, when you tighten a screw in one place, the other side moves too. I think they are great !!and looking at these stock clips, it probably wouldnt be a bad idea to velcro any light, even if it fits perfect !

Let me ask a stupid question since I come from other country.><
What is velcro? Why and where you use it?
BTW, I agree with PA Lancer that we all pay for this product with hard earned money.
But somethimes DIY to make it perfect is kind of funny, isn't it?
Nothing is perfect!
I like the perfect fitment for the other brand's tail lights, but I like the style that TYC made.
So...keep going, guys!! Let's make it perfect by ourself.

Sorry about my poor english! haha~
