Yokohama has new A032R compound.
More info on D.O.T. race tires. Yokohama in the middle of April released the new
"S" compound A032R. This tire is supposed to be huge improvement over the regular "H" compound. The "S" just means "soft." We haven't gotten any feeback on how they run, so I can't really help, In fact we talked to the main guys who do all the racing for Yokohama and they have no feedback as well. (One thing here, all the D.O.T. race tires we sell except the Hoosiers and Goodyears, can be used on the street. Now you won't get a lot of wear, probabaly no more than 8000 miles, but they are legal. )
One thought though, if this tire is anywhere near the A048R they use in Japan then it should prove to be a really fast tire. But only time will tell.
