ROAD/RACE-TEIN S techs.
We will Start stocking TEIN S-Techs for the Lancer. We will drop Eibachs from our line up and substitute TEINS. We have always been a TEIN dealer but demand warrants That we stock stocking them. THey are a quality spring and will out perform most springs. We will still deal RRM Progress Springs. We feel they are the best bang for the buck and we helped in the design of them so I am still a PRogress Guy! I will add the S -tech to the website but until then you can order by phone. Price is $189 for OZ springs!

Rob - if you'd like me to remove this, let me know. Just figured I'd give my views.
Well... not much I can tell you on life. I no longer have a Lancer, if you haven't noticed. I probably had the S-techs for about 6 months. When I removed them (upgraded to coilovers), I thought the car felt fine. No evidence of blown shocks.
However, the guy who bought my shocks complained that he felt they were blown. Given some of our other conversations, I don't really know if I believe him. But that's another matter.
All in all, you just have to know what you're getting into. You're lowering the car and using a higher spring rating. This is obviously going to be harder on your shocks. Now, your shocks might be fine. But they might blow. Just like how your motor could die tomorrow - it's all chance and luck, really.
The most honest thing I could say would be this - if you buy them, expect your shocks to die. If your shocks do die, you had planned on it and were prepared to replace them. If your shocks don't die, then things went better than you planned.

I have not heard any negative about TEIN S-Techs. We had a set on one shop ***** for a while without issue. If I honestly thought there was any issue we would just avoid selling them. TEIN is

i have had the s techs. for about 17,000 miles, and my shocks are still good, and the drop is real clean..I beleive it is 1.8 in front and like 1.2 in rear...ill take a couple of snaps later for everyone.
I've got S-Techs on my Lancer. I've had them on for about 3 or 4 thousand miles and have had no issues with the shocks. They're definitely worth the money. And the drop is clean as hell. Plus it cleans up your handling a bit.
