Hi guys, I'm new to the forum. But I'm not sure, I understand how this is a deal? The standard price for the Sparco Torino seats(2) is about 550-599 approx. 600 bucks. I confirmed that on the www.nopi.com order site. Now that comes out to $1200. I understand there will be shipping & handling charges applied but that comes out to about $1250. How is this "group buy" any special? Now I also understand that most Autosports Shops carry these seats, and if not they would probably order'em for you. If your lucky to come across a place that has'em in stock you prolly wouldn't have to pay S&H charges. So, what's so special about this "group buy"?

The fact that the seats include the sliders and adapters to fit in the Lancer. Those bits right there will cost you around 100 bucks. Other than that, nothing too special. Come on, they are Sparcos, your not gonna get them for much cheaper. Hell I saw em in person, along with the OZ Superlegg's and now Im thinking of selling my Wrangler to finance the purchase of the seats and the wheels. Just my opinion though.

think about how much shipping on 2 of them would be... they are pretty large packages and fairly heavy. Plus its convenient that you get everything you need all at once

Hardware (brackes, sliders, adapters)x2 would be very costly (about $120+) not to mention ground shipping. The price isn't just for two seats. Like I said before, this is a pretty good deal...If only I had the money...bcustom, you lucky bastard!

Tristar-
Not tryin to push any buttons, but what you said about selling your Wrangler to finance your Superleggeras and seats kinda contradicts what you quote at the bottom of your posts says...just makin an observation.

I would like to apologize and retract my previous concern, I guess you guys are right, the brackets & sliders would prolly cost more. I just thought that nopi offered universal sliders & brackets. So CACreations has special Lancer edition sliders & brackets? Either way I guess he's got a good thing going, I don't wanna put it down. I just have one question, are you guys really that dis-satisfied with your seats? I'm kinda happy with'em. It's pretty nice seat(the stock seats). Anyways just wanted to share my $0.02
Peace in Bin Laden's yeast(infection)!

OZ rims and Sparco seats =

1250 + 1200 + tires (Goodyear discount) =

2700-2900 bucks

Lancer + these items = 20,000

20 grand is in my reach, 30 grand for the EVO is not. The Jeep is a 92 with over 150000 on the clock......

No buttons pushed, just thought it was time for a math lesson.....

Tristar-
gotta totally agree. Had 87 Jeep Cherokee, great car but dead at 140,000 miles. Got the superleggera's already and want the seats (wife will kill me), and I will be just under $20,000 for the whole package. Sure like the pics of the evo VII's. If only I was independently wealthy!!!
