RPW Decompression Head Gaskets

Hey Lancer Drivers,

We are doing a group buy for rpw injectors and Decompression Head Gaskets.
The good thing about the rpw injectors is that they are complete bolt in and require no mods at all, however their sizes are somewhat limited.. We will have the 275cc inj available which are good for n/a motors, or low boost motors (7psi)

We have three Decompression head gaskets available. 1.10, 1.50, 2.20

For more information please feel free to visit www.visionimports.com/groupbuy.html for pricing and more information. If you have any questions please feel free to call or e-mail us at Sales@visionimports.com

The Dates will be from Sept 1st- 30th.
Thanks

They will allow you to lower the Compression of the motor, that way you can up the psi on turbo charged vehicles... Depending on the thinkness of the gasket (1.10, 1.50, 2.20) Is the amount of compression Ratio (CR) the motor will be lowered. For exact figures view the link above for more information.
Thanks

Yep. Increasing compression will give you gains, and you can guess what decompressing will do.

Actually RRM hasn't used the gasket yet... they are still building their motor for the car. The other was sold as i decided not to invest more money into my car. I will say that for those wanting to boost more than 10psi you'll want these gaskets.

My estimates are 1.10 gasket should get you about 14psi safely on pump gas...1.5 gasket should get you about 17psi safely on pump and the 2.2gasket should get you to 20psi safely on pump gas. This is while using the stock ecu and just and AFC type setup with bigger injectors. If you're using emanage or AEM the 1.5 should put you into a perfect zone where you'll be able to take full advantage of hp/tq. Going to the 2.2 will result in a significant torque loss so i recommend no more than the 1.5 with standalone/emanage.

The 1.10 is a perfect blender for those wanting about 14psi pump gas with just AFC type tuning and bigger injectors. You'll keep the toque high and be able to get the hp up there as well. Remember that the 1.5 and 2.2gaskets require the cam gear to retime your vlvs. If you get the cam gear for the 1.1 setup i recommend retarding the cam timing 2 degrees. Good luck guys on these... great prices for the setup.

I want some 275cc injectors! I'm gonna look into them. Anyone think that would be a good investment ofr me with what mods I have now? Intake, header, catback, magnecor wires, and soon throttle body. Would I need a AFC after putting them in? Or should it be ok without one?

Also, would this be able to run nitrous safer?

With 275 you will not need an afc, but it would help. What I mean is that the car will run, start and idle with no problems, but for the best results an afc would be helpful. We also have some new units in 390cc unit. We only have 3 sets available so they will go fast these units will ship as soon as they are ordered. We have not included these on the group buy because we cannot guarantee stocks more then 3. Once these are gone I’m not sure how long it will be before we get new units. They are $450 for the set. Remember these units do not require any medications at all. They are direct bolt on.

so if i got the 1.10, 370cc injectors, and an emanage for example, i could safely run up to 14psi on pump gas and stock internals and nothing else needed to run this setup? i thought that the valves started floating at 12psi?
