Drove a 2004 TSX Today

I am looking to replace the lancer for a little bit more luxury because im breaking into a different type of business, so ill be driving clients around and the OZ just does not quite live up to my expectations.

So i went out and drove the 2004 fully loaded TSX auto today and was actually very impressed, very comfortable both in the drivers and passangers seat, the voice controlled navigation is pretty damn cool too..

for a V4 putting out 200hp in the automatic leaves a bit to be desired... But, switching to the sportshift manual shifting gives alot of power back to the gaps I felt before.

Point of interest. Back in the late sixties and early seventies SAAB put out a sports car, the Saab Sonnet which did have a V4.

Im a dumbass when i typed that.. i ment to say 4cyl.... As far as opting for the Auto, I have the Evo to do my fun driving. Hopping around town through traffic lights, stop signs through neighborhoods (yada yada). Ill be showing houses, properties, ect so an auto seems more appropriate for the situation for me.. I wont be driving this car for much else than busieness

going to wait and see how hungry the salesman is . im not in a big rush for another vehicle, but if i can get the right deal I will buy now. So we will see what kind of number he calls me back with and I will probably refuse it and play tag with it, that and they dont have the color i want

well its actually a bit closer to 29k with the options i want. I was thinking of going to look at the 9-3 as well.

Audi A4 nice but i got treated like a punk kid at the dealership they wont ever get my business

BMW 325 again nice car just something about the drivers seat that I dont like the feel

Mazda 626 well is a mazda and the only car i would ever buy would be an older rx-7

Mercury have not even looked into these maybe ill go check it out

Sabb 9-3 I was going to look at one of these next week

Camry GOD i HATE them

Volvo another one i may check into out of curiosity

I like the new TSX, I have not driven one but in that price range I would opt for the 325i. The 325i is a great sports sadan even with auto.

IMHO

Just remember, SAAB is GM now and all those new 9-3's are actually Chevy Malibu's with different bodywork. If my memory serves me the only thing actually traditionally SAAB on those cars is the turbo and tuning of the high performance version. The engine and everything is still GM crap. I've gotta say though there's a lowered white one running around here with 18's on it that looks really tight!!!
