Thats not for the stock redline, it was a specially preparred salt flats car, having about as much in common with a stock redline as my OZ has with an EVO Mr......

No, I assumed you wouldnt be for it, and flaming would start about the car since most here believe the Evo is the unbeatable rocket ship of the world. I just wanted to clarify it was a race prepped Saturn before anyone started crying foul that their precious Evo was faster.....

 

yeah i did notice that i believe the stock ones will use a supercharger not a turbo. but a supercharger for a 4???? doesnt sound very impressive but i guess time will tell.

 

I drove a redline the other day. Yes it is supercharged with roughly 200 hp. It drives like a saturn. It is an ok car, not as fast as i thought it would be. And the driving experience feels very very cheap. for the price of nearly 20k, the ideal choice would be the srt-4. They are MUCH faster, though still retain some of the cheap feel. but for 20k, the srt-4 rocks.

redlines are pretty cool, I went against one in my car and by 120mph I was ahead by a 6-8 car difference and the gap was getting larger and larger. Regardless of that my buddy has one and its decent
