06 r-32 golf
I just found out that the next 05/06 VW golf R-32 will have the 3.2 liter VR6 combined with all wheel drive and -Twin turbos to make around 300 HP. Is anyone worried about this?
Yeah I've read about this car before, looks to be sweet, hopefully the price can be kept under $35,000. Well comparing the 06 R32 to the 05 EVO VIII isn't all that fair, considering that for the year of 2006 the EVO IX is suppose to be released. So I will wait to see how the 2006 EVO IX compares to the 2006 R32. I'm expecting the EVO IX to be one of the best generations for EVO. Especially since it may be the last off of the current platform. I expect 300HP standard in all EVOs and a 6 speed.

The B6 S4 is ~340HP, but is also over 2 tons with fuel and a driver. It still rips to 60 quickly (since when is 60 in the very-low 5's not fast??), and they have a very flat torque curve. They also rev past 7,000rpm, which isn't bad at all considering the price of the car.
S4's are mostly highway bruisers (especially the B6), though they can take a corner fairly well despite the weight. They powerslide though, which I've never liked.
The upcoming RS4 will be an animal, which is supposed to have the RS6's driveline with a few improvements. But I think if they make an RS3, that'll be sick.
