getting a SUV...whats your opinion

Blueevo, No way I'm trading the EVO for the FX, I just need another car to go to supermarket and homedepot. SUV have more room than let say a station wagon, was considering the A4 wagon but still too small and I have the evo already. I test drove the FX and it have the room of a suv but handles and drives like a passanger car.

In that case get a Honda Element.......you get car like handling, car like gas mileage, and TONS of room......plus they are 4wd and pretty inexpensive.
loj68, funny you mention the Element, it a good car, as you said good MPG and roomy, cheap too. But the thing is that car is jinxed. My wife just total it with 8000 miles on the clock. Got rear ended when waiting at the stop light. and the car was hit once in the front when parked in front of our house a few months ago.

Just like there are big and small SUV's, there also are big and small wagons. On the road an SUV is mostly just a wagon with a suspension lift, there are wagons with just as much room as all but the really enormous SUV's (Excursions, etc). Offroading is another matter, but it doesn't sound like you want an SUV for offroading (and if you do you shouldn't buy a new one!).
infiniti for sure! the honda pilot is the worst SUV ever, even the mitsubishi endeavor is way btter than it. the toyota highlander isnt bad (the top model). you can stay in the family and go for an endeavor
Thanks guys for the opinions, bought the FX and will pick it up tomorrow, I just love how the car look and the toys it have, fully loaded with premium, sport and tech package! Was 46050 sticker, and got it down to 40k flat which is 1k below invoice. You gotta listen to the exhaust note, sound just like the 350z.
