tt v8 supra
The guy Larry he mentioned has worked on two of my buddies cars and I have to say, he is one SICK *****.
If you have the cash and the dream, he can do it. That looks like the perfect example of his creativity and desire to push the envelope.
Props to Larry, and his jump to the EVOm forum.
Now I wish I had some crazy money for him to work on the EVO...............

Because those turbos are useless without that big motor.
How can you understand people putting v8's in their motor (which I know which one you're talking about, both of them)?
They could put another rotary engine (single) in with the Rx-7 and make more power without sacrificing reliability.

i woulda kept the inline 6...
however, if Hitler came back and made everyone own rx7s, right before i shot myself i would have put an ls1 or ls2 in it... rotary engines are like a 2nd grader's art work, it's a horrible design, but they all get an E for effort..
i don't understand putting in a heavy v8 in an rx-7. the point of a rotary engine is getting decent power out of a small package and keeping it low and centered in the car. its not about straight line its about turning. similar to the reason you get an evo rather than an sti. besides the thing to do with an rx-7 if you need power is to get a 20B triple rotor single turbo and your making up to 900 horse with only a little more weight. thats the way to do it. keep it in the family like that monster supra. still a toyota motor.
