friend of mine has a GT3 and hes #10 on the waiting list for the F430 up in Dallas. man I wish i had that kinda money sometimes....

 

Who cares about the sissor doors, its a Lamborghini, the most well known name in italian supercars. The car has 500 hp and 480 lbft of torque, and most of the torque is at super low RPM's so there is no waiting like everyone here is used to. This forum is full of people that own cars with superb handling and power as a result of AWD, and they are all voting for the RWD car.

I still say Gallardo, no question.

 

If Ferrari meets their performance targets, the F430 will be faster 0-62, 0-100, and in top speed. Who cares if it needs more RPM/gears to do it.

What!? Ferrari had two decades of incredible cars before Lambo was even founded...

 

I think exterior-preference, interior-f430, performance-f430. The only good think I see with the gallardo is the AWD should help in the wet.

 

uh who drives a ferrari/lambo in the rain/wet/anything other than sunny? ive been in a gallardo and it is as fast as my evo at the low-end and my mom said it looks like a nissan (350z) but even she knows what a ferrari is. and when it comes to italian supercars ferrari is second to none. im going to buy a ferrari when i turn 25

I'd have to drive them both, like the Evo and the STi. They look so different, yet I don't think one's better or worse looking than the other. For me it would come down to how it felt to drive it. And I'm sure they're both amazing. This is a tough one!!!

For the sake of argument, I'll choose the Lambo, just because Ferrari's are more common. When you see a Lambo, it's just so badas$...

Ferrari is and has always been more performance oriented then Lambo. Ferrari were and are still made so the company can race. I believe Lambo was made because Mr. Lamborghini bought a ferrari and decided it wasn't luxurious enough for him.

Simply put, Ferrari outperforms Lamborghini. If you want a fast luxurious car and bragging rights then just get the new M5, you'll be alot more comfortable in it.

Ferraris look better now also imo and Audi has done nothing but introduce Lambos to understeer.

 

Read the latest magazine reviews and performance reports on the F430. It is unbelievable and spanks the Lambo!

my dad is on the list for the f430 so thats obviously my choice but to the person who said who drives a supercar in wet or ice, i say only a moron but one of the key features on the f430 is the knob thing on the steering wheel and it has a setting for wet and naother for ICE for gods sake who takes one on ice? haha but yeah def the f430 especialy since that little button that says LC on it. its launch control, push it and it does a prefect lauch also taking into consideration the condistions such as wet road. that there is awesome. of course id wanna do some launches my self but id be so tempted to press that button at every light i had to stop at haha
